 어린 나이에 저런 감성을 뿜어낸다는 게 믿기지 않는다. 곡과 가사의 일부를 아델이 이미 만든 상태에서 댄 윌슨(Dan Wilson)이 작사, 작곡에 참여했다고 한다. 댄 윌슨이 마치 곡 대부분을 아델이 쓰고 자신은 그저 약간의 도움을 준 것처럼 말했다고도 하는데, 어디까지가 그녀에게서 나왔는지는 모르겠지만 가사는 정말이지 나이에 걸맞지 않는 원숙함이 느껴진다. 듣는 이의 경험과 맞아떨어진다면 아마도 자연스레 눈물이 날 것 같다.
